The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

Open-Rank Faculty Position in Quantitative Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a Quantitative Psychology faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). Postdoctoral Position in Cognitive Psychology

Applications are invited for an NSF funded postdoctoral position in the Cognitive Experiments Models and Neuroscience Lab in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The funded research concerns the dynamics of visual identification in a range of tasks, including priming, inhibition of return, and the attentional blink. This research will use a combination of neurocomputational modeling and psychophysical reaction time studies.

Data Analytics Faculty Position

The Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University seeks an outstanding candidate to contribute to a university-wide initiative in data analytics, commencing autumn semester 2015. This tenure-track position is targeted for up to Associate Professor level candidates. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field prior to the employment start date. All applicants are expected to have strong and fundable research programs and to contribute to both graduate and undergraduate supervision and instruction.
