The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

European Math Psych Group 2010 Call for Papers

The 41st European Mathematical Psychology Group Meeting (EMPG 2010) will be held at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, on August 29 - September 1, 2010.  Proposals for paper and poster presentations as well as proposals for symposia related to all aspects of mathematical and computational psychology are welcome.

Topics covered will include:

  • psychometrics,
  • perception and psychophysics,
  • models of cognition and learning,
  • measurement and scaling,
  • computational methods,
  • statistical methods,
  • mathematical models, etc.
