The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

Postdoctoral Positions in Cognitive Modeling

Two post-doctoral fellows are sought to conduct research under the direction of Drs. Amy Criss and Michael Kalish in the Department of Psychology at Syracuse University. The broad goals of the research program are to develop and evaluate models of human learning and memory using behavioral experiments, advanced statistical techniques (including hierarchical Bayesian analysis) and mathematical cognitive modeling.
