The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

Postdoc Position on Network Modeling

Francis Tuerlinckx (KU Leuven, Belgium) and Denny Borsboom (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands) have a joint postdoctoral position in the Research Group of Quantitative Psychology and Individual Differences at KU Leuven. The research of the postdoc will be part of a larger program aimed at developing and applying methods for network analysis in psychology and psychopathology.

Learning, decisions and bounded rationality

You are invited to attend three related workshops, a field trip, and a winter school that will be held in Haifa, Israel on January 23rd-29th, 2014. The three workshops will present different approaches to the study of decision making, learning, and bounded rationality.
