** ANNOUNCEMENT: AUSTRALIAN MATHEMATICAL PSYCHOLOGY CONFERENCE **
February 15-17, 2013
We're planning on at least two full days of talks on the 15th and 16th. The 17th will probably be a half-day of workshops or a symposium (depending on the interest).
Our website will soon have lots of details: http://ozmathpsych.org/
We'll be sorting out methods for paying shortly, but the registration fee is looking to be about $175 (full) and $100 (students), and includes arrival, morning and afternoon tea on full days, and arrival and morning tea on the workshop day.
** CALL FOR ABSTRACTS **
coauthor list (star the person who will be presenting)
Abstracts should be roughly half a page. Submissions that are plain text, or LaTex preferred; if it's LaTex please include the raw files as well as a pdf.
No person can present more than one talk, but can be a (non-presenting) coauthor on an arbitrary number of talks.
Please have your abstracts in by January 11, 2013.
** WANT TO OFFER A WORKSHOP OR PROPOSE A SYMPOSIUM TOPIC**
We will be having a half-day of workshops or a half-day symposium if there is enough interest.
list of speakers (they should be confirmed; note a person can speak in a workshop and also give a talk)
title of workshop
abstract describing theme of workshop
** BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION **
Given its location, Coogee is a popular place in February. Make sure you book accommodation as soon as you can, as it is not at all uncommon for the entire suburb to fill up in the height of the summer tourist season.
The conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach Hotel in Coogee, across the road from beautiful Coogee Beach (we will cater for, and encourage, swim breaks between sessions!).
Accommodation in the conference hotel will be available at a reduced rate of A$270/night for a double room (which includes breakfast in their Bluesalt Restaurant). You should use the following link to book to ensure that you receive the discounted room rate:https://resweb.passkey.com/go/unswmathpsychology
There are several alternative options for accommodation in addition to the conference hotel, most within walking distance, that suit a range of budgets, including backpacker hostels.
