The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

51st Edwards Bayesian Research Conference -- CALL FOR PAPERS submissions due January 10!
The 51st Edwards Bayesian Research Conference will be held February 14-16, 2013 on the campus of CSU Fullerton, California. This year's conference is co-organized by Daniel Cavagnaro and Michael Birnbaum.
Presentations at this conference may come from any area related to judgment and decision making and are NOT limited to Bayes theorem or Bayesian statistics. This is the 51st Annual meeting, and it will honor the memories of Ward Edwards and R. Duncan Luce, two of the founding scientists of the field of behavioral decision making.
Submissions are due by January 10; Acceptances will be sent by January 15.
Rooms will be available at an excellent rate at the Holiday Inn and Suites that is a 5 minute walk from the meeting room.
