The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

Postdoc position in decision-making and learning in combinatorial games

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at the Center for Neural Science and the Department of Psychology at New York University. The position is for two years, with the possibility of extension. The specific project is an NSF-funded grant for how humans think ahead, decide, and learn in two-player, full-information games (such as chess, go, or tic-tac-toe).
