The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.
How to Join
The Society for Mathematical Psychology has two classes of membership: Regular members and Student members. Applications for regular membership are subject to approval by the Executive Committee. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent experience and be sponsored by a member who indicates that the applicant is engaged in pursuits related to mathematical psychology and is interested in participating in the activities of the Society. A graduate student in any field may be admitted to student membership upon sponsorship by a member and may continue so long as he or she is a student in good standing in any graduate school.
