The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

The Center for Economic Psychology at the University of Basel, Switzerland, is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral researcher. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, neuroscience or a related field, solid knowledge in cognitive psychology and research methods, and an interest in applying these skills to understand the cognitive processes underlying human decision making.
