WELCOME

The Society for Mathematical Psychology promotes the advancement and communication of research in mathematical psychology and related disciplines. Mathematical psychology is broadly defined to include work of a theoretical character that uses mathematical methods, formal logic, or computer simulation. The Society journal is the Journal of Mathematical Psychology.

Young Scientist Travel Awards

The Indiana University Cognitive Science Program and the National Science Foundation have a limited number of travel awards for young scientists to attend one of the 2016 Annual Meetings of the Cognitive Science Society, the Society for Mathematical Psychology, and the Annual Summer Interdisciplinary Conference, to learn state-of-the-art techniques for drawing causal inference from complex and/or large data sets.  Awards are limited to graduate students or scientists within five years of the dissertation by the end of 2016. Applications will close on March 30.
